Rescue Details

Tanzanite, or Tanzi for short, is an approximately 2-year-old female St. Bernard in the care of Big Hearts for Big Breeds. While we’re still getting to know her, Tanzi has already shown herself to be a curious, thoughtful girl who is beginning to feel safe and let her personality shine. Tanzi does well on leash, rides nicely in the car, and gets along well with other large dogs. She can be a bit shy as she adjusts, but with patience, kindness, and consistency, she continues to make steady progress. Tanzi will also need entropion surgery, as she has eyelid issues affecting both eyes. Even so, her spirit remains sweet and resilient, and she takes each day in stride. With love and stability, this gentle girl has so much potential ahead of her.

I am micro chipped. I am good with other dogs. I am comfortable around adults. I love my crate/kennel. I can use a doggy door. I know how to potty outside. I love leashed walks in the park. I will take up the whole back seat of your car, happily.
