*PENDING ADOPTION* Emerald, lovingly known as Emmy, is a two-year-old female Great Dane in the care of Big Hearts for Big Breeds, and she’s a sweet, loving girl with so much potential. Emmy has a gentle heart and thrives when she has structure, routine, and clear guidance — the kind of dog who truly shines when she knows what’s expected of her. Emmy didn’t get the socialization she needed early in life, but she’s making great progress and is currently enrolled in a board-and-train program to help her build confidence and polish her skills. She is potty trained, kennel trained, and does best with older kids (14+). Emmy can be a bit bossy with other dogs, so she’d be happiest in a home with another large, well-mannered dog and adopters who have experience with large breeds. With consistency, patience, and a calm, knowledgeable home, Emerald is going to be a truly fantastic companion. She’s ready to continue her journey with a family who sees her potential and is excited to help her become the amazing Great Dane she’s meant to be.
