*PENDING ADOPTION* Alexandrite, Alex for short, is a handsome three-year-old Great Dane with a heart as big as his paws. In the care of Big Hearts for Big Breeds, he has shown himself to be a truly sweet and loving boy who enjoys the simple pleasures in life — quality time, comfy couches, and being close to his people. Alex is kennel trained and potty trained, and he’s currently working on his leash manners. He does wonderfully with people of all ages and gets along well with other dogs. At home, his favorite place is right beside his bonded partner, Amber. Whether they’re playing together, napping side by side, or stretching out on the couch to watch TV, these two are happiest when they’re together. Alex is looking for a forever home where he and Amber can stay together and continue sharing their days filled with love, companionship, and plenty of cozy downtime.
